How the two tiers work

Start on Core. Move up only when it pays.

DSA Core is not a trial or a cut-down version. It is a complete storefront on your own domain. Which tier you start on comes down to one thing: whether you are finding out, or you already know.

  1. Step one

DSA Core, 50% off your first month: KSh 750, then KSh 1,500/mo

Your own domain, your logo and colours, the catalogue loaded, every payment method on, and your own priced services alongside it.

  2. Step two

    Find your first clients

This is the real test, and it is the same test whichever tier you are on. Core gives you everything you need to pass it.

  3. Step three

    DSA Pro, KSh 5,000

Pro is where a growing operation gets room: no limit on your own services and digital products, more file storage, a much bigger AI allowance, SMS Resell for your clients, and team accounts so more than one person can run the store. Business intelligence is in development. The Pro card above lists what is included and what is coming.

Upgrading changes your plan, not your storefront. Your site, your products and your clients stay exactly as they are.

Starting on Pro instead

Core is for finding out whether customers buy. Pro suits people who already know, and it is a perfectly sensible place to begin.

Start on Pro if

  • You already have more than a handful of your own services or digital products to sell, and Core's limit would hold you back.
  • You sell files, such as templates, guides or courses, and need more storage than Core gives.
  • You want to sell bulk SMS to your own clients with SMS Resell, which is part of Pro.
  • You will use the AI tools every week, so Core's small monthly allowance would run out.
  • You are moving an existing client book across, not testing whether one appears, and you want the operational tooling the day each piece lands rather than migrating later.

Start on Core if

  • This is a new venture and the open question is whether anyone buys.
  • You have a few services of your own to start with, which fits within Core's limit.
  • You want the storefront, the catalogue and your own services without paying for tooling you cannot use yet.

The choice is low stakes either way. Upgrading changes your plan, not your storefront, so nothing is rebuilt and no client notices.

Straight answers

What resellers ask before they order

What margin do I actually keep?

You set the selling price on every catalogue product, so the margin is the gap between your price and ours, and it is yours to decide. We do not take a percentage of your sales on top of the subscription.

On your own services, the ones you define and price yourself, there is no wholesale cost at all. That work is entirely yours.

What happens to my clients if I cancel?

Your clients are your clients. We do not market to them and we do not take them over.

Practically, the storefront and client portal are part of the subscription, so they end when it does. Anything already sold through it that we fulfil, we keep fulfilling for the people who bought it. If you are ever moving on, talk to us first and we will help you land it cleanly.

Can I use my own domain, or is it a subdomain?

Your own domain, on both tiers. You can also remove our branding entirely, so nothing on the storefront says Watu. A free subdomain is there if you want to start before buying a domain.

Do I need to be technical?

No. Setting up is filling in forms, and there is nothing to install, host or patch. If you can run a social media page you can run this.

What it does not remove is the commercial work: pricing, talking to clients, and closing. That is the job.

Who supports my customers when something breaks?

For anything in the platform or the catalogue, we do the technical work, and it reaches your customer through you rather than around you. You stay the relationship.

For the services you invented and priced yourself, that is your delivery. We cannot support work we do not do.
