Know what your farm costs
and what it earns

Sections, harvests, stock, sales and expenses in one place. So at the end of a season you can say which block made money and which one did not, instead of guessing.

Both tiers are live. Prices and features here come straight from the platform, so they cannot drift from what you actually get.

How the two tiers work

FMS Core runs one farm. FMS Pro runs an operation.

Core is the whole system for a single farm, payments included. Pro is for when there is more than one thing to keep track of.

  1. Step one

    FMS Core, $5

Track sections, harvests, batches, stock and expenses. Sell at the gate with the till or online through your own store, and take payment however your buyers pay.

  2. Step two

    Run a season

One full cycle through the system is what makes the numbers worth reading. That is the same on either tier.

  3. Step three

    FMS Pro, $50

When you have more than one farm or company to run, want project tracking in depth, want your produce listed on Watu Farmers Market, or want priority support.

Payments are not the difference between the tiers. Core takes M-PESA, card, PayPal and Paystack, same as Pro.

Who it is for

  • Owner-operators who currently run on a notebook and a good memory.
  • People about to start who would rather not have to reconstruct year one later.
  • Growers selling at the gate who want the same record whether a sale happened in person or online.
  • Small agribusinesses running more than one block or company, who need to compare them.

Not for you if you are looking for a business to start. FMS is the system you run a farm on, not a farm in a box.

Straight answers

What farmers ask first

Do I need internet at the farm?

To record something as it happens, yes, the same connection you would use for M-PESA on your phone.

In practice most people record in batches, at the end of the day or after a harvest, wherever they have signal. Nothing is lost by entering it later.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. It runs in a browser and is built to be used on a phone, which is where the till and the harvest records actually get used.

Can my workers use it without seeing everything?

There are staff accounts with roles, so someone can run the till without seeing your costs or margins.

If you need several people managing separate farms or companies, that is what FMS Pro is for.

Can I get my data out?

Yes, and you should ask this of any system that becomes your records. Your harvests, stock, sales and expenses are exportable, and they are yours.

This is the question we would want answered before putting a season of work into someone else's software, so we would rather you asked it now than after.

What happens to my records if I stop paying?

Talk to us before you cancel and we will get your data out to you properly. We are not going to hold a season of your work hostage.

The system itself is part of the subscription, so access ends with it, but the records are yours to take.
