Make an Impact

Share Watu with the people you know. When they open your link or sign up, it counts toward free data bundles for you as a thank-you.

How it works

  1. Sign up with your name, email and the Safaricom mobile number your gifts should go to. We email you a code, then text you a code, and your account is created once you have entered both.
  2. We review each application. Once you are approved you get a personal share link that is yours alone.
  3. Share it anywhere: WhatsApp, social media, email, text or in person.
  4. Each different person who opens your link counts once, and a confirmed sign-up counts for more than a visit. Reach a milestone and a data bundle is sent to your Safaricom number.

About the gifts

  • Gifts are Safaricom data bundles, sent to Safaricom numbers in Kenya.
  • The bundles on offer today are valid for 24 hours once they are delivered.
  • They are promotional thank-you gifts, not payment for work. Taking part is free and you do not need to buy anything.
